NSSP Membership Requirements​

 

​BOYS (under 18):

• Be a member of a chartered Outpost (Discovery Ranger, Adventure Ranger or Expedition Ranger).

• Earn any two of the following Merits: Archery, Advanced Archery, Air gun Safety, Marksmanship, BB Gun(Blue), BB Gun(Grenn),Air Rifle, Smallbore Safety, Smallbore Shooting, Shotgun Safety, Shotgun Shooting, Black Powder Safety, Black Powder Shooting, Hunters Education/Safety. 

• Participate in a Royal Rangers Top Shot Competition Match.

• Help organize and run a shooting sports event at your Outpost, Section, Division or District.

• Submit application for NSSP membership and include a membership fee of $25.

 

Adults:

• Be a leader in a chartered Outpost, a leader in Girls Ministry or be a member of Royal Rangers Alumni.

• Earn one of the following certifications: NRA Rifle, Shotgun or Muzzle Loader Instructor, NRA Range Safety Officer, NRA Rifle or Shotgun coach, NASP or CENTERSHOT Basic Archery Instructor (BAI) certification. Please attach a copy of your certification to your application.   

• Participate in a Royal Rangers Top Shot Competition Match applicable to Commanders.

• Help organize and run a shooting sports event (Match or Practice) at your Outpost, Section, Division, Region or District.

• Submit application along with Certification’s for NSSP membership and include the membership fee of $35.

 

Membership includes:

• Access to the NSSP Corporate Partnership Discount Program

• NSSP membership card

• NSSP embroidered cloth patch and sticker

• Issuance of the NSSP affiliate patch to be worn on your utility uniform.
